{"id":67,"date":"2017-12-19T23:36:07","date_gmt":"2017-12-19T23:36:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nai.is\/?page_id=67"},"modified":"2023-10-21T15:59:44","modified_gmt":"2023-10-21T15:59:44","slug":"12-spor-og-12-erfdavenjur","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/nai.is\/en\/um-na\/12-spor-og-12-erfdavenjur\/","title":{"rendered":"12 steps and 12 traditions"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"pl-67\"  class=\"panel-layout\" ><div id=\"pg-67-0\"  class=\"panel-grid panel-no-style\" ><div id=\"pgc-67-0-0\"  class=\"panel-grid-cell\" ><div id=\"panel-67-0-0-0\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_text panel-first-child panel-last-child\" data-index=\"0\" >\t\t\t<div class=\"textwidget\"><h3>The 12 Steps<\/h3>\n<div><b>1.\u00a0<\/b><\/div>\n<div>We admitted we were powerless<\/div>\n<div>over our addiction and that our<\/div>\n<div>lives had become unmanageable.<\/div>\n<div><b>2.<\/b><\/div>\n<div>We came to believe that a power \ngreater<\/div>\n<div>than ourselves could restore us to sanity.<\/div>\n<div><b>3.<\/b><\/div>\n<div>We made a decision to turn our<\/div>\n<div>will and our lives over to the care<\/div>\n<div>of God as we understood God.<\/div>\n<div><b>4.<\/b><\/div>\n<div>We made a searching and<\/div>\n<div>fearless moral inventory of<\/div>\n<div>ourselves.<\/div>\n<div><b>5.<\/b><\/div>\n<div>We admitted to God, to ourselves,<\/div>\n<div>and to another human being the<\/div>\n<div>exact nature of our wrongs.<\/div>\n<div><b>6.<\/b><\/div>\n<div>We were entirely ready to<\/div>\n<div>have God remove all these<\/div>\n<div>defects of character.<\/div>\n<div><b>7.<\/b><\/div>\n<div>We humbly asked Him to<\/div>\n<div>remove our shortcomings.<\/div>\n<div><b>8.<\/b><\/div>\n<div>We made a list of all persons<\/div>\n<div>we had harmed and became<\/div>\n<div>willing to make amends to them all.<\/div>\n<div><b>9.<\/b><\/div>\n<div>We made direct amends to such<\/div>\n<div>people wherever possible, except<\/div>\n<div>when to do so would injure them<\/div>\n<div>or others.<\/div>\n<div><b>10.<\/b><\/div>\n<div>We continued to take personal<\/div>\n<div>inventory and when we were<\/div>\n<div>wrong promptly admitted it.<\/div>\n<div><b>11.<\/b><\/div>\n<div>We sought through prayer and<\/div>\n<div>meditation to improve our conscious<\/div>\n<div>contact with God as we<\/div>\n<div>understood Him, praying only<\/div>\n<div>or knowledge of His will for us and<\/div>\n<div>the power to carry that out.<\/div>\n<div><b>12.<\/b><\/div>\n<div>Having had a spiritual awakening<\/div>\n<div>as a result of these steps,<\/div>\n<div>we tried to carry this message to<\/div>\n<div>addicts, and to practice these<\/div>\n<div>principles in all our affairs.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div><\/div><div id=\"pgc-67-0-1\"  class=\"panel-grid-cell\" ><div id=\"panel-67-0-1-0\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_text panel-first-child panel-last-child\" data-index=\"1\" >\t\t\t<div class=\"textwidget\"><div>\n<h3>The 12 Traditions<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<div><b>1.\u00a0<\/b><\/div>\n<div>Our common welfare should<\/div>\n<div>come first; personal recovery<\/div>\n<div>depends on NA unity.<\/div>\n<div><b>2.<\/b><\/div>\n<div>For our group purpose there is but<\/div>\n<div>one ultimate authority- a loving God<\/div>\n<div>as He may express Himself in our group<\/div>\n<div>conscience. Our leaders are but trusted<\/div>\n<div>servants; they do not govern.<\/div>\n<div><b>3.\u00a0<\/b><\/div>\n<div>The only requirement for membership<\/div>\n<div>is a desire to stop using.<\/div>\n<div><b>4.\u00a0<\/b><\/div>\n<div>Each group should be autonomous<\/div>\n<div>except in matters affecting other<\/div>\n<div>groups or NA as a whole.<\/div>\n<div><b>5.\u00a0<\/b><\/div>\n<div>Each group has but one primary<\/div>\n<div>purpose -to carry the message to<\/div>\n<div>the addict who still suffers.<\/div>\n<div><b>6.\u00a0<\/b><\/div>\n<div>An NA group ought never endorse,<\/div>\n<div>finance, or lend the NA name to any<\/div>\n<div>related facility or outside enterprise,<\/div>\n<div>lest problems of money, property,<\/div>\n<div>or prestige divert us from our primary<\/div>\n<div>purpose.<\/div>\n<div><b>7.\u00a0<\/b><\/div>\n<div>Every NA group ought to be<\/div>\n<div>fully self-supporting, declining<\/div>\n<div>outside contributions.<\/div>\n<div><b>8<\/b><b>.<\/b><\/div>\n<div>Narcotics Anonymous should remain<\/div>\n<div>forever nonprofessional, but our<\/div>\n<div>service centers may employ special<\/div>\n<div>workers.<\/div>\n<div><b>9.\u00a0<\/b><\/div>\n<div>NA, as such, ought never be organized,<\/div>\n<div>but we may create service boards or<\/div>\n<div>committees directly responsible<\/div>\n<div>to those they serve.<\/div>\n<div><b>10.<\/b><\/div>\n<div>Narcotics Anonymous has no opinion<\/div>\n<div>on outside issues; hence the NA<\/div>\n<div>name ought never be drawn into<\/div>\n<div>public controversy.<\/div>\n<div><b>11.<\/b><\/div>\n<div>Our public relations policy is based on<\/div>\n<div>attraction rather than promotion; we need<\/div>\n<div>always maintain personal anonymity at<\/div>\n<div>the level of press, radio, and films.<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<b>12.<\/b><\/div>\n<div>Anonymity is the spiritual<\/div>\n<div>foundation of all our Traditions,<\/div>\n<div>ever reminding us to place<\/div>\n<div>principles before personalities.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>12 Spor Narcotics Anonymous 1.\u00a0 Vi\u00f0 vi\u00f0urkenndum a\u00f0 vi\u00f0 v\u00e6rum vanm\u00e1ttug gagnvart f\u00edkn okkar, a\u00f0 l\u00edf okkar v\u00e6ri or\u00f0i\u00f0 \u00f3vi\u00f0r\u00e1\u00f0anlegt. 2.
